:bulletred:EDIT:bulletred: NEW PHOTO. Replaced the old version (with ~razzledazzlerose advice) with this current version with more lighting contrast.


I love my new camera's macro capabilities. I can get soooo very close to an object.
I've naturally been going crazy playing around with this ^^;
This is a result.

I absolutly love this fan I got from my host "mother"(she wasn't very old, she was probably in her late twenties/early 30's at the time, still living with her mom, dad, and brother, but she was the one in charge of us) in Japan.
It's always had a special meaning to me, and keeps me connected.
Besides, it has a wonderful scent ;)

cool idea for a photo :D

you might try increasing the contrast or retaking the photo and lighting it in a way which increases the shadow between each blade. since lines are the central focus of this picture, you want to make sure that they're each distinct, and right now they kind of blend together because there's not enough of the lines between the blades.

Thanks, I'll try that tonight *got nothing better todo ;)* I was originally just playing around with my cameras macro ability and wasn't thinking about composition as much I should have been ^^;
